Maybe you’re nervous to hire a copywriter for your sales page, because you’ve priced designers and you’re thinking there is nooooo way you can swing the copy and design.
You know that words sell, but poor design can absolutely affect sales, too.
Readable fonts. Spacing. Flow. Branding.
Copy is everything but good design brings it to life in the best way.
Here’s how I help my clients with design for their sales page copy.
💫 If you’re hiring a designer …
I have a short list of designers who can design your sales page in a week or day for an investment that is beyond reasonable. More than that, these designers are incredibly, incredibly good at what they do. They’ve designed work for me and my clients, and I trust them fully.
I’ll give you their names anytime (even if you don’t work with me) – just reply and ask.
Whether you go with a designer I recommend, or someone else, I’ll be here to communicate with your designer as they’re putting the copy onto the page.
They can ask me questions.
I’ll adjust any of those tiny things when they need another word here or there.
At the end, I’ll go through your page line by line and give recommendations for any design adjustments needed for conversions in a Loom video for you and your designer.
💫 If you’re designing the copy on your own …
The sales page I write for you will be completely wireframed out in Google Docs. This means you will know exactly what’s a headline, pre-head, button, body font, etc. You’ll know where each new section of the page starts and stops. You’ll know where to put icons and photos. You’ll know where each word goes.
Then, I’ll stay with you as you design your copy. I’ll answer your questions and give your page a thorough edit (or two!) in a Loom video to make sure it looks absolutely professional.
If you use Showit, I also have a free, customizable sales page design template (designed by Carly with Hey Carl) that you can use.
💫 You don’t even need to ‘design’ the copy if you don’t want to …
Your sales page will be so good in Google Docs that you can sell it in Google Docs – you don’t even need to design it right away, or ever.
It will be formatted like a “Google Doc” sales page.
You can sell an offer in a Google Doc if your sales page copy is done RIGHT.
I’ve done it. My clients have done it.
Design is the least of your worries; the copy is what sells.
Start with a Google Doc sales page and put it into a ‘professional’ design later or when you’re ready or if you want to.
Design is the icing on the cake, but if you’re putting the page into design, I will help you do that whether you hire a designer or do it yourself, and I’ll help make sure your design is done well.
